Not wanting to lose another loved dog to cancer, and being told by the vet the type of food we unwittingly fed him may have contributed to his demise, we conducted extensive research before concluding we should give Orijen a try. Harvey, our pedigree Border Collie now 4.5 years old, has been on Orijen Adult post puppyhood and still enjoys it as much as the first time. We use the kibbles as a healthy training reward and invariably draw an entourage of other people's dogs when out walking, all eager to have a taste! His weight is well-controlled and he has the most amazing glossy coat and knows he is handsome. A side benefit is that his 'poo' is normally quite firm and easier to pick up in a bag so anybody a bit sqeamish about this necessary task may like to know this. Although this food seems expensive the recommended portion sizes are quite small, so a little goes a long way. Competitive pricing and good service from Miscota, but order in good time due to the fact the order is shipped from Spain.

Seriously considering taking on some overtime so I can pay for this food! It is pretty dear, but the cats love it. Haven't feed them it long enough to see any benefits (coat shine, eyes, energy...) but they both suffer from food related issues and this food has not triggered any reactions and that is more than good enough for me.

My cats absolutely love this, I even use it as treats because they like it so much!! One of my cats is allergic to poultry and the other one is intolerant to many other things and this is a god sent!!

Orijen is a good feed for the dog, we have tried adult puppy and now the fish they have a great selection of food only downside to fish is that it smells really bad.

The best price I could find and nutritionally one of the best dry foods on the market, my Samoyed thrives on this diet*, lovely healthy coat, skin, eyes, teeth etc never had any problems and he always looks forwards to dinner time - a very happy customer and pooch!

*In addition to this diet he also has other sources of fresh protein added to the meals such as raw/cooked chicken, salmon, tuna, pilchards, sardines, turkey, beef, scrambled egg and also natural yoghurt and fresh vegetables.

We have adopted 2 whippet puppies in addition to our 2 other, older whippets. My older whippets have been fed Orijen for about 2 years now and are thriving on it. Decided to put the pups on Orijen puppy food and they are doing so well. Growing very fast but not fattening up which is a no no for a whippet. They love the small biscuits but are sometimes having a nibble from the adult Orijen. Would recommend Orijen to anyone. Price seems steep but you only have to feed them half the amount of for example James Welbeloved or Science Plan. So works out same price or cheaper and much better ingredients.

This food is so clean and nutritious. Our dog loves it. He's a very active dog and so the high protein content is great. He doesn't have a nasty aroma about him with this food. I think the fact that all the ingredients are digestible by dogs has made a tremendous difference

First time using regional red, though have been using orijen original & fish varieties since we Had our rescue border collie. She loves all the different flavours and clears her bowl each feed time, Everyone remarks on her beautiful shiny coat and she is in great condition, a testament to the quality food she eats I believe. Although expensive, you don't use as much as cheaper food and a 13kg bag lasts our 19kg dog around 3 mths which equates to less than £6 a week, which I think is reasonable for a quality food. Would never buy any other food again unless absolutely forced to!

Great food for our dog. Mastiff x great dane, large appetite but Orijen does satisfy her, which surprised us. Her skin and coat condition has improved immensely. Although a dry food, it comes vacuum sealed, and the food is 'moist' due to the ingredients. Would recommend. Very good quality food without all the fillers.

This food has changed my dogs life. At the time he was a 2 year old chocolate lab who was overweight and was having seizures. I saw a programme on tva about what is in dog food and after much research moved him onto Orijen. It is amazing! In the year since discovering Orijen he has lost 5kg, he has not had a single fit, his eyes are bright and his coat is super glossy. I cannot recommend this food highly enough.

We feed our Broholmer raw food http://vomoghundemat.no/ , and use Orijen Puppy Large Breed as a supplement food. We tried other high quality dry food as a supplement food, but our Broholmer experienced stomach problems. With Orijen Puppy Large Breed our Broholmer can eat Orijen Puppy Large Breed on an off with no stomach problems.

Barney loves his food - he'd eat anything really. But Orijen goes that bit further - he quite often goes to where we keep his food and just sniffs at it! I bought it because of the recent controversy regarding the ingredients in dried dog food - and also because we lost our 12 year old to an agressive disease and I'd been researching natural foods. I'd definitely recommend it - I just wish I'd used it years ago!

I've been using Orijen Fish for a year now together with Orijen Regional Red and a small amount of wet food. Orijen forms the main part of his daily food and so far there's no tint of him getting bored with it. He's bright, healthy with a good clean coat. The food smells good and I think it's the best dog food available. The product seemed costly to start but he eats less so presume it's all high value nourishment instead of low food value bulking agents.

I have a cross Staffordshire bull terrier, he used to sniff his food and walk away, but from day one he has loved this food, can't say it's changed anything yet as he's only been on it for a couple of weeks, but hoping it stops him itching his mouth all the time.

I tried this as a change option to original red, as it's significantly cheaper. The product seems to be the usual Orijen "top quality", although I must admit if I can afford it I will stick to the original red.

I started my one year old cockerpoo on orijen two weeks ago. Previously she had been eating Canagan, which is had to mix with cheaper brands or cereal to get her to even look at! (She didn't like canagan and has always been a picky eater!) as soon as I opened the bag of Orijen, I worried she wouldn't like it, it was in small pieces, brown and boring! I couldn't have been more wrong. My dog absolutely loves this food. She seems healthier and her coat is growing faster. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. The best thing about it is the small feeding portions, which makes the food much cheaper than you think.

We changed from Royal Canin to Orijen because or research and awards orijen had won. Also research told us that this was an excellent mixture ratio. We are very pleased with product and our dogs skin and fur quality.

Best dog food out. Our Viszla really thrives on it and eats with such enthusiasm we know it's tasty and just right for an active gundog. The last order was badly delayed and we had to get some emergency food in - a good, well known make but he just tolerated it and left it until he was really hungry. Orijen every time. However, Miscota should watch the price - an extra £10 has suddenly been added to the two-pack and is not competitive with Zooplus at this price.

My Bernese Mountain Dog reacted badly to several foods until I found Orijen. Although pricey, he needs less (weight wise) than he did of the products packed with cereals and having been on it for well over a year he is doing very well now. Skin and digestive issues disappeared within the duration of the first bag.

Miscota have competitive pricing and pro-actively kept me updated when they had supply issues rather than leaving me wondering what had happened to an order recently. Very pleased with them.

Having had one beloved dog die from cancer of the stomach I researched what are the best dog foods to feed as I'm worried that despite tring to feed the best food I'd given her food with fillers in. I'm confident that tho expensive When I feed Origen I'm providing a brilliant diet for my two young dogs, they love it too!! Miscota provided an excellent and quick service with the most competitive prices.

Our 2 year old Viszla has been fed on Orijen since weaning and our vet has particularly praised his condition on each of his annual check-ups. Regional Red is an occasional treat - not sure we can warrant the expense otherwise but the main choice is Orijen Adult. Disappointed that Regional Red went up in price between our first and second purchase otherwise we'd have continued with it. Orijen beats all other foods - alternatives like Purijen are not comparative and our dog is clear which he prefers.

The best quality dry food I have ever come across. All Orijen and Acana products I would thoroughly recommend. Regional red is the most expensive of the range, and to feed my 35kg Lab costs about £2.20 per day. For my best friend, that is not expensive to me.
